Minimalism looks great in every room but for some reason, nursery rooms are usually associated with bright colors and lots of products of all sorts, sizes and colors. Unfortunately, this can make a room look really messy. That is why we prefer a minimalistic nursery. Using neutral colors, little items and adding a few stunning eye-catchers will transform a normal nursery into an eye-catching baby space! We came up with 7 easy steps towards making the best minimalist nursery. Still not convinced? Have a look at some of the pretty pictures below.

OK, let's get started. Step 1: Make sure that you have all the basics. This is a chair, a cupboard and a bed. Once you have collected those three items it is time to move on to Step 2: Add a cute baby mat that your baby can sit on or sleep under. It is great for keeping your babe comfortable at all times! Next up we're headed to Step 3: Add some cute pillows, and casually throw them an small couch or chair. Oh! and don't forget to add some to the bed as well. Even just one pillow can tie the entire bed together! By the way, this sleeping area is only decorated with black and white, but isn't it the cutest?

Onto Step 4: Adding bold baskets. Baskets can be used anywhere and for anything. You can use it as pillow or blanket storage, as toy storage, as laundry basket or anything else that you desire. As you can see above, one basket can already make such a difference! Think about it: no more loose blankets or toys lying around, so a super clean room, hooray!

The picture above contains the last three steps towards making your minimalist nursery complete. Step 5: Buy your little one a baby wrap! It keeps your baby cute and cozy at the same time! Plus, when folded and put on the bed like in the picture above, it makes the room look really cute as well. Then there's Step 6: Beautiful bottle covers! Not only do they look very cute on top of cupboards, they are a must-have for making late-night feeds easy. Lastly, if you really want to make your nursery room completely tied together, we have a Step 7: Go ahead and add a floor rug! When using neutrals in a room, a black-and-white rug is the perfect solution for making your room look complete and homely.
